dread admirals also give you couagulant which makes me mad because thats the only thing there giving me.

As stated above, you get them from Vermillions (Monster Number 246). They are only found in grottoes, and not just any grottoes… high-level grottoes, and not just any high-level grottoes… certain grottoes with a specific terrain. I actually forget where I found the ones I used to have a map for, but if all goes well, I’ll get to that point in the game in a week or so.

yeah there is no metal king in slime, highest level slime in slime hill is liquid metal slime (CMIIW)
