Dragon Quest IX Guide Item Alchemy

In this section you will find how to create item alchemy (you can do alchemy at the stornway’s inn). Use it by opening world map and Bestiary in your new tab. So you can see exactly where the item is located. If you find better location to find the ingredients, Please tell me how to do that in comment section. Thank you very much. Hope it helps.

wow getting edricks shield is hard enough i got orichulchan or sank like that and now i got to get rusty shield so i gotta grab all the items for quest 49 so anoying im getting there.
Where do you get the nectars from?
see world map section
West of Swinedimples, North of Bad Cave (Bloomingdale), East of Batsureg, like on that little strip of land between the plains and the dungeon.
Where do you get the orbs from?
legacy boss
Where can I find orihalcum?
I need it for Edriks Sword
The easiest way is to exchange 15 mini medals after you have complete all 80 normal mini medals item.
You can also find one in a chest in the observatory (if I remeber right)
from metal king slimes or in high level grottos chests
Hahahahahahaha. From a Metal King Slime, hahaha, yeah, it’s hard enough to find one of those, let alone get it to drop one of the rarest ores in the game, aside from orbs…
i find mks’s constantly, so much that i avoid them. they drop it at a rate of like 1\278. best bet to get them early is to have a water grotto with 13fl+ and “platinum” in it’s name.
