Dragon Quest IX Nintendo DS Guide Batsureg to Gerzuun

Batsureg location is north from Gleeba. Head there point (1) in my map.

Batsureg

Buy new equipment and armor here. Head to biggest yurt (tent), talk with the king and see an event.

Get out from Batsureg and go to hunter’s yurt (2) in map. Enter upper yurt to see an event and then enter the other one and talk with Batzorig. Get out and cross northern bridge to point (3).

You will see an event about Batzorig and baboon, talk with ghost and now head to east ponit (4) in my map

Gerzuun

This place is more like abandoned village than a dungeon. It is very short (only takes about 10 minutes) and there is no strong monster here.

Head to the west and go down using stairs, you can grab hephaestus flame and sober ring (there is 2 locked door, I haven’t got a key to unlock them. Just remember this place and come back when you already get the key).

Go back to village, You can enter the well to obtain blue chest. Enter yurt on the north to obtain mini medal. Grab all the item in village circle (slime crown, resurrock, and 3 blue chests). Now go to north and walk through the corridor. Go down and check the flower to obtain Bodura grass.

After you get bodura grass; get back to hunter’s yurt. Give bodura grass to batzorig and then return to Batsureg.

Larstastnaras

Wow very creative name we get here, using pokemon formula (ekans=snake). Now it is Sarantsatral to Larstastnaras. Monster name in this game really2 amazing LOL. Anyway, this battle is easy, she has low Hp and her attack is only cause little damage. What annoying from her is Dazzle spell which cast upon all your character and there is high chance that your physical attacker got inflicted with this.

Normal attacks: about 15 damage and she got MP for attack you (like your wand)

Dazzle: hallucinate/blind

Boom: large explosion on all characters( about 30 damage)

Fluury of flower: make your characters inactive on that turn (target all characters)

There will be an event return to bayaarma’s grave and take Spirit bracer.
